The Blackhawks and Habs are Original Six franchises, son. Why the hatred? Please elaborate...
Just another example of why the NHL cannot evolve into a 21st century sport. You dont see the NFL lobbying for the Duluth Eskimos or the Toledo Maroons to come back JUST BECAUSE they are the History of the NFL. The Hawks are TERRIBLE and WWW ran the franchise as a fan-UNfriendly product INTO THE GROUND. Watching a Habs broadcast game is like watching a Yankee Game ONLY EVERY OTHER TEAM IS BETTER THAN THEM. It is one thing to act like the home team is perfect and the be all end all. It is another thing to lie to the viewing audience with the contrary proof right in front of them. It has been a million years since Montreal had a stranglehold on the best canadian players. Now they are a mangled mix of mediocrity, Breeze-By and Hammer retreads, and fading memories. Know how many goals Kovalev has scored since 2004 as a Hab? 45 in 161 games. And he is their biggest offensive threat. GET RID OF THEM.
